How this planner thinks

Mauritius looks small on the map and feels bigger on the road: the coastal loop is roughly 180 kilometres and cross-island drives regularly take over an hour. The single biggest itinerary mistake visitors make is treating the island as one place and zig-zagging across it daily. This builder groups your days by coast so each day stays local, in the order a real road trip would run them.

Every suggestion is a real, established place: public beaches, national parks, UNESCO sites, markets and family parks. There are no sponsored entries and no bookings; where something needs a licensed guide or an early start, the tip says so honestly.
